Cookies and browser storage
Information about cookies and data stored in your browser.
Updated: 7 October 2026.
Browser storage
On your first visit, the site displays a cookie choice notice. Your choice is stored in browser local storage under biss-cookie-consent. The record contains the essential category, choices for optional categories, the interface version and the time of the choice. Your choice remains valid for up to six months. If you return after that period, the expired record is removed and the site asks for a new choice. You can also change your choice or clear browser storage sooner.
Analytics and advertising services are not connected to the site at present; their cookies or similar identifiers are not set. Once connected, these services will not load until you explicitly consent to the relevant category. You can reject all optional technologies or change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
Server logs
Technical server and hosting logs are described in the privacy notice. They are not cookies stored in your browser.
Optional services
Before optional services are connected, this notice will identify their providers, purposes, information stored in the browser and retention periods. These services will be used only for the stated purposes and after your choice.
Your cookie choice is not sent to B-IT, analytics providers or advertising platforms.
Storing or reading optional information on a userโs device generally requires an active, informed choice, and refusing must be as easy as accepting. See Traficomโs cookie guidance and section 205 of Finlandโs Act on Electronic Communications Services.
